Cover Confessions: Belly Stones, Swishy Hair, & Tight Leather Pants

Thankfully, this week's Cover Confessions was less of a hefty load when side by side with last week's edition. Even so the covers on these perty upcoming releases are sure to have you foaming at the mouth. I know I had to wipe off some frightening excess so as not to scare the parental unit and the remainder of her progeny. There's a BUNCH of WOW here.

Hogging the Spotlight This Week...

Title/Author: Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Story ARC: Trilogy, Book 3
Expected Publication: March 19, 2013 by Margaret K. McElderry
In Clockwork Princess, Tessa and her companions travel all over the world as they race to stop the clockwork army before it’s too late. As Jem’s health worsens alarmingly and his friends search desperately for a cure, can Tessa choose between the two boys she loves—even if it means never seeing the other one again?
Every cover in this mother cussing series has stolen THE BREATH out of my unsuspecting body. Whoever is in charge has managed to commission two of the most gorgeous male cover models for the first two books and then MY MIND WAS BLOWN WITH THIS CHICK IN HER DRESS ON THE COVER. The smug, almost seductive expression in the eyes was a RISK. It COULD have been ridiculous - I know this because I tried it in the mirror and I was discouraged from ever attempting to wear that look on my ridiculous face. The glowy book and the dress and THE... OH MY WORD THE ENTIRE THING. I cannevn, ya'll. CAN'T. EVEN.

I'd really LOVE to say it was no contest for this week's spotlight choice, but it was HARD. Not TOO hard, because, I mean, HULLO, may I redirect you to THAT COVER? But it was difficult...

AWESOME, right?

Now, you may have already seen the GORGEOUS cover for Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout, but have you seen the full spread?

Gosh, I NEED NEED to read this one. Not WANT NEED, but double need. That cover reminds me a bit of one of my fave covers, which is for Sleight by Jennifer Sommersby, but it's still it's own thing. I love Armentrout's sassy, sarcastic heroines and I can't wait to read about Ember! You can expect Cursed to hit stores in September from Spencer Hill Press.

And that's all from me, you guys. Have any other cover discoveries you want to share? Feel free to hit me up on Twitter or through email, I'd be happy to add in whatever you've got.

What do you think? Which do you like the best? Are you interested in reading any of these? If you, by some INSANELY fortunate chance, have already read any of these deliciously covered books, what did you think? Let me know down in the comments section. Don't be shy!

So many effing AMAZING covers! AND CLOCKWORK PRINCESS! I swear it's Cassie's prettiest cover yet. AND SQUEEEEE! COVER FOR IMPOSTER! AND SCARLET! SCAAAAAAAAAAAARLEEEET!
But... uh...

The Gathering Dark? That's the name Shadow and Bone has been released as in Australia and the UK... it's odd there are two books coming out with such similar names this close together...

The cover for MILA 2.0 is SOOO pretty! I would get myself a copy of that book for the cover alone. :D The Gathering Dark and The Dark Unwinding look amazing too.

I don't think I am a fan of the Clockwork Princess cover though. When I first saw it on Facebook somewhere, I thought it was fan-made. I am SUPER excited for the book though. I need to find out what becomes of my Will! ;)
