PFS2012 Waiting on Wednesday: Alice in Zombieland + Deleted Scene

meme button made by Cindy @ oodlesofbooks.net/

She won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever.

Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.

Her father was right. The monsters are real…

To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies…

Deleted Scene from Alice in Zombieland:
Imagine it: my first date, and with a guy like Cole. Tough and rough and determined. He’d take me to a dark, romantic restaurant, but I wouldn’t be afraid because he was the kind of guy monsters expected to jump out of their closets. We’d eat the most amazing meal, plus dessert, and he’d demand to pay the bill. We’d go to a movie, and he’d keep his arm draped over my shoulders the entire time.

Yeah, and you would be uncomfortable the entire time.

Fine. That was true. But he’d walk me to my door and probably try to kiss me. For real. I would be able to compare vision with reality at last.

Thank you so much, Gena and Marie! Friends, I've been stalking netgalley endlessly for even the tiniest whisper of a galley for this novel. It's seriously one of my all-time most anticipated novels EVER, so I not only do I hope to read it early but I also pray that it's as amazing as it looks and sounds. Comment below if you have a thing for the Mad Hatter or you've been down the rabbit hole.

I don't know if I'm waiting on this book or not. I know a lot of people are going crazy for it and I love the author, but I tend to shy away from zombie books because I'm not the best with them. haha If it's like Susan Dennard's Something Strange and Deadly, then I'm good. If it's more than that, yeah, not for me! Haha, but the deleted scene was cute, I love the name Cole!
